Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 30, 2025

Welcome to Pluma! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it—always with transparency and respect for your privacy.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any content you write or generate using the Pluma desktop application. Your notes, drafts, and writing stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

Authentication & User Accounts

You can use Pluma without logging in. Logging in with Google is optional and only required to access advanced features (like Gmail automation). When you sign in, we collect only yourname and email address for account and feature management. We do not access your Gmail or other personal data unless you explicitly request an advanced feature that needs it.

AI Feature Usage

Pluma integrates AI features powered by Google AI. We do not store any prompts or responses sent to or returned from AI providers. According to Google, your data is not used to train their models.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized, aggregated data about how often AI features are used (e.g., how many times a feature is triggered). This data helps us improve the product but does not include any personal content or identifying information.

Subscriptions & Billing

If you purchase a subscription, your billing is managed through Lemon Squeezy, which uses Stripe as a secure payment processor. We do not store your credit card details. We only store your email, plan type, and subscription status.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the limited data we do collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
